JistTrade is made by JistQA Limited ("we"). This page explains what the app does with your information. In short: we collect as little as we can.
JistTrade stores your business details, customers, quotes, invoices, payments, receipt photos and mileage in a database on your phone. You type all of this in yourself.
If you choose to import a customer from your contacts, the app reads only the contact you pick. It never reads your whole address book.
The camera is used only when you snap a receipt or add your logo. Reading the text on a receipt happens on your phone. The photo is not sent anywhere to be read.
Backup is optional. If you turn it on, you sign in with your email address and a copy of your JistTrade data and receipt photos is sent over an encrypted connection to a server run by JistQA. We use it only to give it back to you when you restore. We keep your latest 20 backups plus one a day for 35 days. Your customers' details are in that backup, so we hold them on your behalf and only for that purpose.
If you use backup we keep your email address to send your sign in codes. We never send marketing to it and we never share it.
Uninstalling the app removes everything on your phone. To have your backups deleted from our server, email admin@jistqa.uk from the address you signed in with.
JistTrade has no adverts, no analytics and no tracking. We never sell or share your information.
JistTrade is not aimed at children under 13.
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
